Get to know Brock Allen
First, I love The Lord Jesus with all my being—I passionately seek Him with my whole heart, praise Him for His goodness every day, and I sincerely love to serve Him and everyone around me in any way I can. Sincerely, my heart beats for Jesus and my goals in life are to abide in Him and serve the world around me. I’ve been blessed to experience most of my entire life in The Church and primarily as a Bible Teacher over the past 20 years, with my beautiful wife Renee. Together, God has blessed us with a beautiful family, and we’ve recently started enjoying the wonderful gifts of being grandparents. God is truly good.
God led Renee and I to Parkway in early 2015, and to this day I find myself pouring out my heart thanking God for it. Life in this body of believers seems to continuously bloom and grow. But throughout my life God has led me through an array of seasons and callings in ministry, from levels of pastoring, teaching, evangelism, and leading various parts within the church. Now, I am blessed to have a leading part in evangelism and the outreach ministries at Parkway.
It’s amazing all that God is doing here with so many types of outreaches! God has called the people of Parkway to the jails, nursing homes, truck stops, drug recovery centers, at many major public events, housing projects, crisis centers, parking lots, you name it, and you’ll probably see us there with “no strings attached” just serving people the love of Jesus. I firmly believe, the life-flow of the church is taking all that God gives to us inside the church to the outside world around us! It grows individual believers and fosters unity in The Church and is God’s purposed way to sending spiritual rescue to the world.
I’m convinced; this is the abundant life Jesus promised. I told someone just the other day, “We are literally living The Book of Acts! And it’s not of ourselves, it’s Christ living in us!” Our planners stay filled with outreach events! We are always loving and serving but our mission is introducing people to experience Jesus! One life at a time! I can’t imagine a fuller life in Christ, yet I still believe the best days are still ahead!
