Get to know Ellie Yaden
Hi, I’m Ellie! I’m a pastor’s kid, so ministry has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started singing in my teenage years and felt the Lord leading me deeper into worship and missions over time. In 2020, I married my best friend, Jordan, and we now have one amazing son who brings so much joy to our lives.
I graduated from Union Commonwealth University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and currently serve as a critical care nurse at Baptist Health Corbin. I work as a floor nurse, lead nurse, and president of our Unit Based Council. I believe the Lord has specifically called me into this role, and I view my work in healthcare as a ministry just as much as any role in the church.
At Parkway, I get to serve alongside Jordan and our amazing worship team, helping to create a space where people can truly encounter the presence of God. Worship has been a powerful part of my walk with Jesus, and I live by the anthem: “All my life You have been faithful. All my life You have been so, so good. With every breath that I am able, I will sing of the goodness of God.” That song perfectly sums up my testimony and my heart for worship.
