Get to know Garry Conley
Garry Conley has been involved in Christian ministry most of his life. He became a Christian at age 12 at the Church of God youth camp and was voted Mr. Youth Camp 1969 the next year.
While still teenagers, Garry and his wife Amy, helped launch the bus ministry at Center Street Church of God and maintained a route every week for 8 years. Garry and Amy have been partners in ministry for nearly 50 years. They served as teachers and Children's Pastors for over 45 years before they retired in 2021.
In 1991, Garry partnered with Men & Women of Action and developed an interest in disaster response and construction as a way to share the gospel. In 2022, after devastating floods ravaged most of Eastern Kentucky, Garry became the Founder and Coordinator of Operation: Letcher County Recovery and then expanded that ministry to Operation: Appalachia Strong.
During the last 3 years, he has led multiple teams into the flood zones of Kentucky, Tennessee and North Carolina to serve thousands of hot meals and make home repairs to flood victims.
Garry and Amy are also owners of Minuteman Press of London KY, where they have served the community's printing needs for over 21 years.
