Get to know Jordan Yaden
Hey! Im Jordan! I grew up in a home deeply rooted in ministry—my dad was both a pastor and worship leader—so it’s no surprise that I felt called to ministry as a teenager. I followed that call to the University of the Cumberlands, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Music in 2019 and later my Master’s Degree in Education in 2022.
In addition to serving as the worship director at Parkway, I’m also the choral director at South Laurel High School. I get to lead students in musicals and concerts that stretch from local performances to state-level showcases. It’s a joy to pour into the next generation through both education and worship.
At Parkway, you’ll often see me behind a keyboard, guitar, or other instrument, leading worship or working alongside our tech team. I’ve been part of the Parkway family since 2014 and stepped into the worship director role in 2023. I truly believe that worship will play a huge role in ushering in another Great Awakening before Jesus returns. Psalm 34:8 is my life verse: “Oh taste and see that the Lord is good.” My heart is that everyone who walks through our doors experiences that goodness in a way that changes them forever.
